Volunteer Policy

Morley Library Volunteer Policy 

Volunteers work cooperatively with Morley Library staff to help connect the community and library, to create positive experiences for our patrons, and to enhance the Library’s services. 

Social Media Policy

Morley Library upholds intellectual freedom, offering equal access to information and diverse points of view. The Library may use social networks to facilitate communication and encourage collaboration between library staff and library patrons. The Library’s social media sites are not intended to be traditional public forums for the general exchange of ideas and viewpoints, but a limited forum for discussing library programs, events, and materials.

Ohio House Library Funding

The Ohio House of Representatives is currently working on the state budget for the next two years. The House Finance Committee accepted an amendment that eliminates the Public Library Fund and replaces it with a line-item appropriation, representing a $100 million cut to library funding compared to Governor DeWine’s budget.
