Seed Library
The Morley Library Seed Library provides free seeds to help community members grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers at home. The Seed Library supports gardening, food access, and learning for all skill levels.
How the Seed Library Works
- Choose up to two seed packets per person per day.
- Seeds are free and available while supplies last.
- No library card is required unless otherwise noted.
- Seeds are for personal, non-commercial use.
When and Where
- Location: Morley Library
- Special Feature: Visit our third-floor Grow-Tunda
- Availability: During regular library hours
- Season: Spring through early summer, while supplies last
What Seeds Are Available
Seed availability changes throughout the season and may include:
- Vegetables
- Herbs
- Flowers
Not all seed types are available at all times.
Saving and Sharing Seeds (Optional)
Donations of seeds are welcome, either in original packets or homegrown.
Loose, homegrown seeds must be:
- Clean
- Dry
- Clearly labeled with the plant name and year harvested
