Kindness by Mail: Letters to Seniors

Kindness by Mail: Letters to Seniors (In-Person Program)

Adults and teens are invited to join us at the library for a meaningful evening of connection and compassion as we partner with Letters Against Isolation to spread kindness this winter.

During this in-person program, participants will write a friendly, uplifting handwritten letter to a senior who may be living in a nursing home, receiving hospice care, or supported through services such as Meals on Wheels. While you won’t know the recipient personally, your thoughtful words can make a powerful difference and truly brighten someone’s day.

All supplies will be provided, including stationery, letter-writing guidelines, and fun stickers to help personalize your note. Once your letter is complete, we’ll take care of mailing it for you.

Let your words be a gift of warmth, hope, and connection.

Ages: 13 and up
Registration: Recommended (supplies are limited)
