What is the Summer Reading Program
Keep learning going all summer long with an engaging program at Morley Library. This FREE program encourages kids, teens, and adults to read 20 minutes a day and complete activities to keep learning fun throughout the summer.
All Reading Counts! Whether the child has a big person read to them, adults listening to audiobooks on their commute, read graphic novels, comic books, blog posts, magazines, it all adds up.
Activities matter! Activities count towards completeing the challenge. The more badges you complete, the more digital tickets you earn!
How to get Started
There are three ways to register:
- Online at https//morleylibrary.beanstack.org/reader365
- Download the Beanstack App on your mobile device and enter your library information.
- In person at the reference desks on the 2nd and 3rd floor.
If you have participated in past Beanstack challenges, login with our username and password. Visit the library service desk for help to reset your password.
Reading Challenges are divided accordingly.
Babies and Toddlers 0-3; Preschool and Elementary 4-12; Teen and Adults 13-18+.
How to participate
Read/listen to ANY books for at least 20 minutes each day from June 7th - July 26th.
Log your reading every day online through the Beanstack App or by using the paper tracker, which must be brought to a library service desk BEFORE July 26th for your reading to be entered in Beanstack.
Babies and Toddlers earn digital tickets for drawings of their choice of baby and toddler appropriate prizes.
Preschoolers and Elementary participants earn digital tickets for drawings of their choice.
Adults and Teens earn digital tickets for drawings of their choice.
Complete and log all reading and activities before JULY 26th at 11:59 p.m. If you use the paper tracker it MUST be turned in by 4:00 p.m. on July 26th.
