Our Obituary Index is for the death notices appearing in the Painesville Telegraph, from 16 July 1822 to 30 April 1986, and in the News-Herald (Willoughby), 25 March 1986 to the present, can be found in the Genealogy and Local History Room.  Also included are obituaries from the Northern Ohio Journal (Painesville), 11 July 1874 to 26 June 1880; the Painesville Republican, 1898 to 1906; and the Willoughby Gazette, 1 October 1868 to 25 September 1869.

NOTE:  Morley Library does not have microfilm for all the newspapers in this index, specifically the Painesville Republican and various editions of the Painesville Telegraph [covering a time period of about 1890 to 1910].
