Teen Programs 2018

These programs are for teens in grades 7 - 12.  Register online by clicking on the program date and completing the registration form.  Teens may also register for programs at the Reference Desk on the 3rd floor, or call Morley Library at 440-352-3383.

March Programs

Teen Movie Night Thor:  Ragnarok

Tuesday, March 6 ~ 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.  in the Basement Meeting Rooms A & B

Join us as we watch Thor and the Hulk battle gladiator style!  We'll have pizza & popcorn, so bring friends.  :)
Registration is optional. 

Felting for Teens

Tuesday, March 13 ~ 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the Activity Room

Try this fiber arts craft using wool and a needle to create animals and other 3-D sculptures.
Registration is required. 

Teen Gaming Night

Tuesday, March 27 ~ 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in the Basement Meeting Rooms A & B

Take your pick of games to play on the PS4 or challenge your friends in Scrabble or Clue!  We'll have many games available, and pizza too.  Bring friends!
Registration is optional. 

April Programs

Poem in Your Pocket

Tuesday, April 10 - Thursday, April 26 in the Teen Corner

Poem in Your Pocket Day on April 26 is a wonderful way to celebrate National Poetry Month by sharing your poems with others!  Stop by our Poetry Creation Station in the Teen Corner which has writing supplies, prompts, and books of poetry available to inspire teens.  You may share your poems with friends on April 26 or give them to the Teen Librarian for our Teen Poetry Display. 


Teen Movie Night ~ Star Wars:  The Last Jedi

Tuesday, April 10 ~ 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Basement Meeting Rooms A & B 

Will the Force be with you, young Jedi?  We think so!  Join us for pizza and the latest Star Wars blockbuster film.  Bring friends!
Registration is optional.



Tuesday, April 17 ~ 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Activity Room

Join us to plant seeds for the Growtunda, our sunny indoor garden in the 3rd floor rotunda.  Adults and Teens are welcome at this event. If you can't make it this evening, we'll have planting supplies available in the Activity Room until the end of May.

Teen Comic Con Planning Session

Tuesday, April 24 ~ 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Activity Room

Calling all teens who love cosplay, fandom, graphic novels,  and anime.  If you want to meet other people with similar interests and help plan a Comic Con event at the library this summer, then we hope you'll join us!  This will also be a making session for your costume.  We'll have some materials available, but you need to bring your own materials too.  Contact the Teen Librarian for more information.
