Tween Programs

N B TWEEN

N B TWEEN is a weekly program for tweens ages 9-12. The Winter N B TWEEN session will start on Wednesday, January 10th and run for 7 weeks. NEW for Winter 2018, there will be no registration needed for N B TWEEN. N B TWEEN runs from 4:15 - 5:00 PM in the Project Room on the Children's Floor.

N B TWEEN Weekly Schedule for Winter Session:

January 10—Pizza Party and Board Games

Join fellow tweens for pizza and fun!  We will talk about the upcoming tween programs also!

January 17—Crafting and Coloring 

We will create some artwork together.  There will also be some time for fun coloring sheets!

January 24—Tangrams, Trivia, and Brain Teasers

Let’s show off our smarts by doing several games that require a lot of thought!

February 7—Food Crafting

Back by popular demand!  We will make a winter-themed snack together!

February 14—Valentine’s Day Celebration

Come celebrate the holiday with some friends!  We will play a game and make a craft. 

February 21—Rock Painting with Miss Barbara

Join Miss Barbara in creating your own unique painted rock.

February:

Tween & Teen Escape Room: Antidote!

Tuesday, February 13th - Meeting Room AB - 6:00 - 8:00 PM

You have been exposed to a deadly virus and must find the antidote! Tweens and teens must work together to ensure that the virus does not spread outside of the library walls. If you love puzzles, working as a team, and a challenge, this is the program for you! This program is for children age 10-17 years.

Registration is required and will begin on January 2, 2018.

March:

Pizza & Pages - Tween Movie "Wonder"

Thursday, March 15th - Story Room - 4:15 - 6:30 PM

For tweens ages 9-12. Come and talk about the “wonder”ful book, Wonder, by R. J. Palacio.  We will have pizza and watch the movie as well!

Registration is required and will begin 2 weeks before the program on March 1.
