We are kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations with this fun and easy craft. Create your own sugar-skull painted rock, choose from our assortment of images, or make up your own.  This event is FREE!  Adults Only

October- Luminaries

Kick-start the holiday season with some fall-themed fun! We'll be using tissue paper and lots of glue to make luminaries. As always, we'll provide the supplies. Remember to bring your creative side!

November- Greeting Card Gift Boxes

Ever wanted to try origami? This class will be a fun and easy introduction to the craft. We'll be making little gift boxes out of greeting cards. Participants can make 2 boxes each using our supplies, or you may bring your own (old or new cards).

December- Wine Cork Reindeer

Pop open some bottles of wine, what you do with the contents are your business, and bring the corks in to make these cute holiday decorations! Don't have any corks, don't worry, we'll share with the group. We're spreading holiday cheer with hot chocolate for all registered participants!

Who may attend these classes?

Anyone, 18 years of age or older, may register to join in on the fun.

How does one register?

Registering is easy as 1, 2, 3:

  1. Call 440-352-3383, and ask a Librarian.
  2. While in the library, visit the 3rd floor Reference desk, and speak with a Librarian.
  3. Register using our online calendar, by clicking on the event to open its description, then click on "view more" at the bottom of the window to open the registration page. Please fill out the form completely.

What should one bring to class?

Participants are asked to bring a smile and an open mind to class, and we will provide the rest!

*In the event that additional materials need to be provided by the patron, it will be noted in both the full description of the event in the calendar and on all in-house signage.
