November Programs:

Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt

Wednesday, November 1st through Wednesday, November 15th

Kids ages 12 and under can participate in a fun, FREE picture Scavenger Hunt in the Children's Room. Find all 10 pictures hidden around the Children's Room and turn in your sheet for a free, small prize from the treasure chest. Limit once per child, please.

Thanksgiving Storytime

Monday, November 20th - Story Room - 6:30 - 7:00 PM

Join us for a special drop-in Thanksgiving storytime! Enjoy Thanksgiving stories, songs, and a flannelboard. For families with children ages 5 and under.

No registration needed.

November Baby Craft

Tuesday, November 21st - Project Room - 10:00 - 10:30 AM

For babies ages 0-2. Enjoy a free half hour art session for caregivers and babies. Make a footprint paint turkey and football, then take home Baby’s artwork to show off to friends and family.

Preschool S.T.E.A.M. Stations

Wednesday, November 29th - Project Room - 10:00 - 11:00 AM

Explore various activities that will build your child’s early literacy skills. This drop-in program is designed for children ages 2-6 and their caregivers and takes place in the Project Room on the Children's Floor. Discover how everyday household items can become learning tools for your child.

No registration needed.

KIDS CRAFTERNOON!

Thursday, November 30th - Children's Room Rotunda - 4:00 - 5:00 PM

Make a FREE kids craft! Drop by the Children's Room Rotunda to make a free craft roll fall character. As supplies last, small children may need help.

December Programs:

The Polar Express

Saturday, December 2nd - Meeting Rooms AB - 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

All aboard the Polar Express! For children ages 3-8 and their parents. Celebrate the magic of the holiday season with the classic children's movie, The Polar Express. Kids will be decorating cardboard box train cars and watching the movie "drive-in" style, then taking the cars home after the movie. Light snacks will be served.

Registration is necessary as space is limited.Registration opens 2 weeks before the program on Nov. 18th. Please register your child(s) name. Parents must stay with children.

Monkeying Around

Wednesday, December 6th - Story Room - 4:15 - 5:00 PM

For kids grades K-3rd. Did you know that December 14th is National Monkey Day? Help us celebrate early and learn all about monkeys! Make a fun monkey craft and play a game with friends.

Registration is required and begins 2 weeks before the program on November 22nd.

Make a FREE kids craft! Drop by the Children's Room Rotunda to make a free hot chocolate charm necklace. As supplies last, small children may need help.

Decorate a Candy Tree

Saturday, December 9th - Meeting Rooms AB - 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

For families with children ages 12 and under. Drop in between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM to decorate your own frosting and candy tree and take it home with you!

All supplies provided, no registration needed. We'll use green frosting to cover sugar ice cream cones and then add assorted candies. Cover-up recommended as this could get messy! Limit one tree per child, please.

The Construction Zone

Tuesday, December 19th - Story Room - 4:00 - 5:00 PM

Drop by the Story Room between 4:00-5:00 PM for The Construction Zone! Build a LEGO creation or test your marble race track skills and have your picture taken for the new Construction Club wall. All ages welcome, parents must stay with children ages 5 and under.

Unplug and have fun at our Board Game Bonanza! For families with children ages 12 and under. Drop by the Story Room to play some classic board games and beat winter break boredom. We will have a variety of games for children of different ages.

Family Afternoon Matinee

Thursday, December 28th - Story Room - 1:00 - 3:00 PM

Join us for an afternoon family matinee in our Story Room! We'll be showing Disney's Short Films Collection, so stay for one or stay for all, whatever fits your schedule.

No registration needed. Snacks and covered beverages are allowed. Parents must stay with children ages 8 and under.
