‘Back to School Bash' set for Aug. 8

On Aug. 8, the Lake County General Health District, the Salvation Army and other local organizations are holding the third annual Back to School Bash from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Harvey High School, 200 W. Walnut Ave. in Painesville.
This event will include free haircuts for adults and children, books, clothing, sports physicals, cholesterol screenings, blood pressure screenings, immunizations, food distribution, and other services available to help families get ready for school.
“This is a time to improve the overall health of the community and have the children get off to a good start,” said Kathy Milo, director of Health Promotion and Planning at the Health District.
