GENEALOGY & LOCAL HISTORY COLLECTION

Morley Library has a special collection to help those interested in researching their family genealogy and local history.

The Genealogy and Local History Room is open during all regular library hours. However the room is not always staffed.  Morley Library's Genealogist is usually available Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 until 1:00, and on alternating Friday and Saturday mornings from 9:00 until 1:00.  You can call the Library to verify the staff availability.  Basic assistance can be supplied by the Reference Department and Children's Room staffs.

If you have a question about the Genealogy & Local History Room or a specific Painesville-area genealogy or local history query, you can e-mail us at genealogy@morleylibrary.org
