** HOW TO DONATE BOOKS **

Membership - Membership in the Friends is open to everybody.  This membership application may be printed or applications are available at the Circulation Desk. 

Meetings - The Friends of Morley Library Board meets the first Wednesday of every month, at 4:30 PM in the Morley Library Meeting Rooms.

Activities:

1. Used Book Sales:  Held several times during the year, book sales are the source of most Friends' income.  Upcoming sales are always announced on this web page.   Book sales are held in the Friends of Morley Library "Book Cellar" on the lower level.

2. Annual Membership Meeting: Normally held the first Wednesday in May at 7:00 PM, this event usually features a local author or celebrity or other entertainment.

3. Table Top Tree Silent Auction at Rider's Inn:  Beautifully decorated holiday trees are up for bid during the first two full weeks of December.  Want to decorate a tree for the next silent auction?  Call the Friends @ 352-3383, ext. 401 and leave us a message.

4. On-going Book Sale: Recent bestsellers and other books are almost always for sale.  Look for these books on the Display Case near the stairs.

5. Gift Basket Auction: Usually held the week after Easter, beautifully themed gift baskets are on display.  Buy your tickets and decide which basket you might like to win!  Want to contribute a basket or items for a basket? Call the Friends @ 352-3383, ext. 401 and leave us a message.

6. Annual Picnic:  The Friends hold a pot-luck picnic each autumn.  All members are invited to attend.
