Morley Public Library Study Room Policy
Morley Library offers two study rooms in
the third floor Reference area. To request the use of a study room, please
speak to a Reference Librarian.
Morley Library’s
Behavior and Conduct Policy applies in any study room use.
1. The study
rooms are available to small groups for non-profit, educational, civic, and
cultural purposes. No partisan political events, for-profit activities, or
private functions are permitted. Exceptions may be made for tutoring uses.
2. Study
rooms are available to be used by 2-6 people.
3. Study room
A is available on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis and may be used for
a maximum of one hour. Additional time may be requested if no one is waiting.
4. Study room
B may be reserved for a maximum of two hours. If not reserved, it may also be
used on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis.
5. Persons
reserving the rooms must have a valid Morley Library card and provide a phone
number.
6. Failure to
appear for 10 minutes after a reserving a study room voids the reservation.
7. Any
individual may only reserve a room once each week.
8. Food or
drink is prohibited in the study rooms.
9. Morley
Library reserves the right to use either room for library-related activities.
